- Set, align, and remove concrete forms
- Place and tie rebar for concrete pours
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete (screed, float, trowel)
- Form joints and edges using appropriate tools
- Operate tools and equipment such as vibrators and power trowels
- Assist with directing concrete placement during pours
- Monitor weather impact on curing and finishing
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Accurately complete daily timecards and report work performed
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with Foreman and team regarding job progress or issues
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in concrete finishing or carpentry
- Heavy civil or construction experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- OSHA or trade certifications a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and processes
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, dust, and construction equipment
- Outdoor construction sites across project locations
- Work may include exposure to weather, heavy equipment, and elevated areas
- Travel may be required depending on project needs
- Deliver quality work that meets project specifications
- Follow all safety policies with zero exceptions
- Maintain productivity and reliability on the job site
- Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude

CMES Inc. was founded in February 1996 by professional civil engineers. The initial operations of CMES Inc. were conducted from their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The founders were only employees for a time, working diligently to obtain and complete projects within budget and on time as per contract specifications.
Today, we are still young, but also an aggressive company comprised of experienced professionals from the engineering, design, analysis, construction, and project management fields. We have grown to a workforce of over 300 dedicated employees and a fleet of more than 400 heavy construction equipment and vehicles. Our corporate office is located on a 67,000 square foot facility which houses contracts, estimating, administrating, accounting, human resources, and our fleet departments.
